MEET NICOLE
NICOLE SMOLEN grew up in Georgia and studied in London before graduating with a degree in Cinema and Television Arts from CSUN, where she won the Movie Magic Scholarship and prestigious 2019 Wolfson Scholar Award.
After starring in 8 DAYS, a non-profit film about human trafficking, Nicole traveled to across America and South Africa to raise awareness. In addition to speaking at benefits, she championed local anti-trafficking organizations and was later interviewed on STEVE HARVEY. She has also appeared on shows across ABC, CBS, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon, most notably CRIMINAL MINDS and BROTHERS & SISTERS.
Nicole was an actor first, so this informs her casting process. Since 2018, she has found the right performers for commercials, print jobs, music videos, and a wide range of theatrical projects. Most recently, she cast season 5 of X-FACTOR. Hosted by Jonathan Frakes, this series is a revival of the cult classic BEYOND BELIEF: FACT OR FICTION. She also associate produced and cast 150+ performers across the 8 episodes.
In addition to top-tier commercials and music videos, Nicole has produced several award-winning films, many of which have debuted at acclaimed festivals ranging from Palm Springs and Tribeca to Cannes. Besides being certified in AVID Media Composer, she specializes in Movie Magic Budgeting/Scheduling, Final Cut Pro, Google Drive, and the Adobe Suite.
